Creating an Herbal Medicine Garden

Design a garden of healing herbs to fill your herbal medicine cabinet.   There is an abundance of plants that thrive in our area, many of which still grow in the wild, that have been used for generations by the indigenous people and others to keep themselves healthy.  Join us as we learn about the easiest to grow beneficial herbs, both perennial and annual, that can be added to your garden.  You may discover that you already have some that you thought were “weeds” growing in your yard.  We will also cover the benefits of each herb as well as practical tips on planting, harvesting, drying and storing your herbs.
